Art is not only an emotion aroused in the user, but above all an attraction that reveals what cannot be seen. By admiring a work of art like the majesty of a mountain landscape, I feel this wonder that makes me grateful for the beauty that I can taste. I paint out of passion and love without pretending to convey messages. What directly touches the depths of my heart, through images, photos or what I see live, are the stimulus to create my works. Usually, on the canvas, I first spread a background of acrylic color to give a contrast or harmony with the painting that I will then do in oil. I often alternate my work with sketches or pencil drawings so as not to lose this certainty and this dexterity that I then apply in the composition and installation of the canvases. Industrial archeology or interior places of abandoned houses are the compositions that attract me, they are conditions where we perceive the daily life of man in work and family life forgotten over time and perhaps hampered by the globalization that advances in our society. My latest subjects are now urban landscapes, in which perspective and escape routes are predominant, perhaps in connection with my previous work as a technical designer. That's why I also tend to be a perfectionist, which I would like to correct, so on the canvas I keep trying to remove rather than add detail to give breath and movement to the painting and make it more interesting to me and then to the viewer.
