My work is rooted in a fascination with the strange, nature and the psyche and all that it encompasses. It tends to marry and reveals notions of nonsense in their compositions as well as an almost surgical character in their executions. A kind of poetry of the mind where values of microcosm, camouflage of anthropomorphism merge. ID Sousia is not a pseudonym chosen by chance and touches directly on this notion of "ID" in the Freudian model. Satisfying a primary instinctive need, governed by pleasure. A well of energy that nourishes the "Sousa (誰是我)" that tends to it in its definition, like a continuous search, reflections on oneself and personal evolution of identity. These two notions look at each other, brush against each other, each cultivating a certain nonsense. The use of black and white as the main mode of execution opens the mind to a suggestion of color by conscious memory. The very suggestion of forms that we think we recognize aims to play with our senses. A projection of the mind in which fantasy and imagination do the rest and lead us to explore these frames of volume, depth and light that oscillate between teeming biology and monumental architecture.
