I have been working as a commissioned painter since 2003 and it was only at the end of 2018 that I decided to show myself and my works to the public. My inspiration are the people and the times we live in. My large images from the series "Die Zeiten" were all created in 2020 and tell a story that everyone knows and that surrounds us all. We are all connected: intertwined/involved with each other, no matter what color of skin, religion and culture we belong to, we all live in This time...in the present, here right now you are looking image and become a part of that image yourself. It is that now that the image is complete where each viewer incorporates their own story and feeling into the work, intertwining it with the ubiquitous life that knows no bounds and is infinite! Time always flowing, and moving, there is no stopping. The present becomes the past, the future considered as an expectation. With my work, I would like to encourage the viewer to consciously experience the unique "now" at the moment and pause to feel that own energy that unites us.
